XM Radio and I hear DJ
Dorkface (sorry can't remember his name) play this new mix..... "Whip It Like A Slave"........ As I sit there at a red light thinking to myself "Did he really just say that" I hear the next verse in the song. "I wake up in the morning and I Shit, Shower, Shave"..... "Whip It Like A Slave"..... When did become acceptable for artist to write crap and add a nice song track to it?? What happened to the music that inspired us to love, take a stand for what's right? I write this blog sadden by today's music. Wishing that one day artist will take a stand and create something beautiful. Listeners write to there artists and tell em "Women aren't bitches or hoes"or "
Nigga this and
Nigga that" isn't acceptable.
I say aloud......
STOP MAKING MUSIC THAT'S NOT GOING TO INSPIRE BROTHERS OR SISTERS TO BE STRONG, AND SUCCEED IN LIFE...
